Decorating your floors especially when special event is coming like engagement, marriage or reception is one way to keep the occasion alive.

Depending on your choice, it is always good to have rugs spread in the floor that gives a mild and royal look. You can also place your elegant living room furniture over some rugs that add more look to your living room. You can even add rugs under your kitchen floor.

Whether your rug is pure or not, as long as you know how to decorate then you knew you have decorated your floors with style.

Some of my friends use wool rug that is entirely a hand hooked rug where the wool used is 100% wool. Just like what I say, it depends on your taste to use genuine type of rugs or not.

There you have it, use rugs to add some style when decorating your floors.

Some homeowners put off cleaning their window blinds or even have no idea how to clean blinds, for months to come. Until they do find out, it’s a huge job in cleaning a single window blind.

Vacuum your blinds weekly to remove any dust build-up. Using your vacuum with the soft brush attachment is a fast and easy way to remove the dust.

You can use old pair of socks or cotton gloves on your hands or using a lamb's wool duster to wipe the slats. A small brush, such as a paintbrush, will also remove the dust on the blind slats.

When cleaning blinds, you can either take them down or clean them while they hang.

The easiest way to clean the surface of each blind is by tilting the slats down, leaving them open a bit and cleaning each slat.

Never use abrasive cleaners, water or solvents to clean your wood blinds. On wood blinds that are not painted, use furniture polish on them.

Remember, cleaning window blinds on a regular basis lessens the dirt build-up and keeps your blinds look beautiful.
